I love seeing little faces light up with a smile when I open the door to the classroom every morning. I love it when all of a sudden I feel my leg being hugged and I look down at a child smiling up at me telling me they love me. I love listening to a room full of kids laugh just because they like how it feels. I love the “difficult” children who say no to everything and test me to see if I mean what I say. I love it when my students are so excited about a topic that they ask a million questions and don’t want to leave the rug for our next activity. I love creating a sense of community by encouraging the parents and caregivers to linger a bit at drop off and pick up and chat about what’s going on in our room and in their lives. And what I love most about being a preschool teacher is that I see the difference I make in my student’s lives, every single day. To me, teaching preschool is very different from teaching older grades. Once a child reaches kindergarten the focus becomes academic – it’s time to learn to read, write, “do” math and take tests. The “soft skills” like learning to deal with frustration, make a plan and follow it during play, taking turns, making friends and dealing with conflict, are rarely taught and often not supported. And to be fair, what teacher has time to deal with a child who can’t sit still on the rug when she has 24 other students and a lesson to get through? But the reality is that it is the mastering of those “soft skills” that will actually determine a child’s success in elementary school and beyond. And teaching those skills is the job of a preschool teacher.

Adams As a young girl, I always dreamed about becoming a teacher because I was so astonished and in awe of my teachers. How they were able to make learning so much fun. I was lucky to have many passionate, clever teachers as a child that instilled a thirst for knowledge and a love for language and books. They made solving problems exciting and literature come alive. But, more importantly, they made a difference in my life. My teachers fostered within me a desire to learn, challenge myself and explore and I wanted to share that same experience with others and I am glad that I took a step in the right direction. I knew from the time I was young that I wanted to help others discover the wonders, that I had been shown. I found a knack for guiding children in the acquisition of knowledge and skills and also take pride in the success of others. The way the eyes of the children light up in response to understanding ignites my excitement for teaching. More importantly, knowing that I am making an impact beyond that of academics cemented my decision to become part of this important, evolving and noble profession and I hope and pray to the Almighty Allah, that I'm able to do justice to my role.

It is often said that the first impression you make on someone is the most important. It can never happen again and usually is not forgotten. I believe this is true for education also. Kindergarten or preschool is a child's first impression of the school.  Whether that impression is a good or bad one it will affect the child through the rest of their schooling. I was fortunate to have a great first impression of school which helped me to decide to become a teacher. There are many reasons why I have chosen Preschool Education as my major. The biggest reason is not only because I have always had a love for children but also for learning. The vision that I have for my classroom is like most of the classes when I was in preschool school. They were very colourful, full of books and art projects, and made you feel like you were at home. I will arrange the seats in clusters, in which two students will sit beside each other and then they will face two other students. I believe that this is a less intimidating arrangement and allows the students to gain social skills The bulletin boards will have every students' artwork or projects hanging up. The room will be decorated according to what time of year it is. My supplemental materials will include extra books for the children to read, craft supplies, and anything else that I can find that will make learning more enjoyable for the students.

Teachers are a vital part of our lives; their teachings remain as a memory with us till we die. It is them who have held our hands and have helped us become what we are and which profession we choose for ourselves. It is said that a teacher can open a mind and touch a heart. Children begin their learning with preschool. A preschool teacher moulds children and prepares them for the outer world. Therefore I became a teacher because I love being with kids and its dream comes true. I want to accomplish my things as a teacher but mainly gain the trust from my students the student needs to trust the teacher and the environment of the classroom I would introduce me before the school starts to let them feel comfortable with me   I personally. A good teacher must remain calm in all circumstances It’s an awesome feeling. Sometimes it’s a bit overwhelming at Years start as they come in totally new to school. I was lacky to have some wonderful teacher who influenced and encouraged me to be whatever I wanted to be. I Hope that I can be as important to my students as those teachers were to me.I want all of my students to now that you learn something from every experience and that failure isn't failure if a lesson is learned.

What appeals to me the most about being a  teacher is the chance to contribute to the community. I can enrich children’s lives in a meaningful way. If you are driven by the impulse to assist children, it will show in the long run, believe me. I am making a difference. Essentially being a teacher is about empowering little minds to do great things. This is part of why I wanted to be a teacher. Teachers can share wisdom and life lessons. All teachers shape the future of the rising next lot of potential leaders in the making. I love it when a child responds to an interesting lesson or gets a high mark at the end of the term as well on their report card. That way I know I have profoundly impacted them in a good way. Not everyone can do that and I'm grateful for the opportunity to do that.

A DAY IN THE LIFE Morning: Kindergarten teachers will start the day early by preparing the days lesson and getting the classroom ready for students. She may greet students and parents when they get dropped off and instruct students to put their things away upon entering the classroom. Some schools will offer students breakfast or a snack in the morning and the teacher will be responsible for distributing that. Mid-Morning: By mid-morning, the teacher may have students learning while sitting on a rug, or she might take a more hands-on approach to some lessons and have them work in groups at tables. Lunch: A teacher assistant might take the children out for lunch and recess. This gives the teacher time to look at homework, clean the classroom, and prepare for the afternoon lessons. Afternoon: The teacher may have additional time to plan lessons while the students take a nap after recess. After nap time, instruction resumes. The teacher may have the option to put the teacher assistant in charge of part of the class so that students can work in small groups or individually and still get the attention they need. After Work: Kindergarten teachers, especially in the first few years, will likely have work to do after the students leave. This can include planning lessons, calling parents, meeting with school administrators, or checking homework.

Have you ever had a child come and hug you because they were so happy to have finally mastered the art of scissor cutting? I have. We adults forget how wonderfully exciting first time experiences can be. We forget how magical the early years of childhood are. Everyday, there is something new to discover and experience! Being a preschool teacher allows you to relive first time experiences on a daily basis. If you are a preschool teacher never forget this! Get dirty and explore the world with your children. It is the job of a preschool teacher to set a good foundation for higher learning. I enter the classroom as a teacher but come out as a mother. I have a never-ending love and passion for teaching. Helping children in learning and getting personal satisfaction in return. The responsibility of shaping our country’s future motivates me every second. I effectively combine my communication skills and passion and knowledge to bring the best out of them. A teacher can have a huge impact on a child's progress. 🔸 My education philosophy is to create a learning environment that is fun and exciting. I want to inspire my children to learn more about themselves and the world around them. 🔹 CIRCLE TIME: At our school after a school assembly we start each day with circle time. In this time student learn rhymes through actions, they learn counting like_counting who is absent among them or how many plants/ trees we have in the campus and so on. 🔸At this time of day, I found kids are really enjoying being at school. 🔸 Dream leads to big ideas which can lead to innovation. Here I should say a teacher can inspire kids to think beyond their comfort zone and help them to reach their fullest potential. 🔹 STUDY TIME: Early learning experiences are crucial factors for emotional, intellectual, social, cognitive and physical development. There is nothing more inspiring than to see the face of a child who has achieved a new skill like_ telling stories, reading, identifying objects it's colour, name, shape or able to write between the given lines. 🔸As a teacher, I can help students to build their ability to learn and can be a positive influence in their learning process. 🔹 LUNCHTIME: Despite the difficulty of getting everyone through the hand-washing process and sitting relatively, quietly at the table. With all of the discipline, it's time to listen in on some really funny and interesting dialogue between novice socialized. 🔸 Here I realized students don't need a perfect teacher they need a happy teacher who is gonna listen to their stories, their feelings. 🔹PLAYTIME: It is the heart of every preschool's curriculum. In our school, we spend a lot of time outside which is wonderful. I love observing the games that they come up with, especially when they don't know that I am paying attention. 🔸Sure some days are exhausting. However, when you greet those little smiling faces the next morning you are empowered beyond words. “ I AM PROUD TO SAY, I AM A PRESCHOOL TEACHER. BECAUSE MY JOB IS MY GIFT THAT I OPEN EVERY DAY.”
