What appeals to me the most about being a teacher is the chance to contribute to the community. I can enrich children’s lives in a meaningful way. If you are driven by the impulse to assist children, it will show in the long run, believe me.
I am making a difference. Essentially being a teacher is about empowering little minds to do great things. This is part of why I wanted to be a teacher.
Teachers can share wisdom and life lessons. All teachers shape the future of the rising next lot of potential leaders in the making.
I love it when a child responds to an interesting lesson or gets a high mark at the end of the term as well on their report card. That way I know I have profoundly impacted them in a good way.
Not everyone can do that and I’m grateful for the opportunity to do that.
